Responsibilities for mechanical fitter
• Efficient disassembly/reassembly in line with productivity improvements and
capacity planning (achieve the required efficiency and utilization standards for
production – performance/assembly to build times)
• Support, lead, train and mentor others (including apprentices)
• Participation and involvement with Company Quality Procedure and Standards,
ensuring timely identification, communication and recording of all quality issues
• Responsible for undertaking maintenance , repairs, minor improvement and extra
works across the site
• Work on own and as part of a team carrying out routine PPM, reactive and minor
repair works as assigned by the Workflow team ensuring all deliverable SLA/KPI
targets are met or exceeded
• Communicate with the Engineering Departments when support is required to ensure
all tasks can be achieved within prescribed requirements Indentify extra work
requirements and provide details of required material and labour estimate to enable
client quotes to be issued

• Participate in any CIP (Continuous Improvement) activities, including workshops and
discussion groups relating to quality, cost and delivery performance
• Refurbishment of Filling, Screwcapping & Corking system/equipment
• Root Cause Analysis any form of failure or quality issues with the process of filling
wine
Qualifications for mechanical fitter
• Fault finding on mechanical equipment
• Comply to safety standards/codes and ensure world class housekeeping
• Identify all unsafe conditions and notify management
• Planning, organising and co-ordination skills
• Be a team player, motivated self-starter and willing to learn
• Able to make proper business decisions
