Job Title: Supervisor – UPVC / Prefabrication Unit

Location: Ezhichur, Oragadam, Kanchipuram
Department: Production / Operations

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Supervisor to oversee our UPVC and Prefabrication unit. The role involves managing day-to-day production, ensuring quality standards, supervising workforce, coordinating installations, and maintaining safety and efficiency in operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day activities of the UPVC and prefabrication production/installation teams.

• Plan, allocate, and monitor manpower for fabrication, assembly, and installation works.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards, technical specifications, and project timelines.

• Oversee fabrication, cutting, welding, and assembly of UPVC/prefabricated materials.

• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients for smooth workflow and delivery.

• Maintain production schedules, track progress, and ensure timely completion of tasks.

• Monitor usage of raw materials, tools, and machinery to avoid wastage.

• Conduct inspections and quality checks during fabrication and installation.

• Enforce workplace safety standards and compliance with company policies.

• Train and guide junior staff/workers for skill development and efficiency.

• Prepare daily/weekly reports on productivity, quality, and workforce performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma / BE in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (preferred).

• 3–7 years of supervisory experience in UPVC fabrication, installation, or prefabricated structures.

• Strong knowledge of UPVC profiles, fabrication processes, structural building, and prefabricated cabin/site office assembly.

• Experience in manpower handling and production planning.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site requirements.

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of safety regulations and quality management.

Additional Requirements:

• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
