Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Cutting CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting machines to produce precision metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate CNC laser cutting machines (e.g., Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada).

• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to determine job requirements.

• Adjust machine settings for material type, thickness, and cutting parameters.

• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.

• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Keep accurate production and maintenance records.

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.

• Work closely with production supervisors and quality control to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical/vocational training is a plus).

• Proven experience operating CNC laser cutting machines.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Familiarity with metal types (steel, aluminum, stainless) and thicknesses.

• Basic understanding of CNC programming and G-code (preferred).

• Strong attention to detail and quality.

• Good physical condition; able to stand for long periods and lift up to [X] lbs.

• Willingness to work shifts and overtime if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Lantek).

• Certification in CNC machining or laser operation.

• Forklift certification (optional).
