Job Summary

We are looking for skilled AutoCAD and SolidWorks professionals to join our design team for developing automated and semi-automated car parking systems. The candidate will be responsible for creating accurate 2D and 3D designs, production drawings, and BOMs as per site and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

For AutoCAD User:

• Prepare 2D layout plans of car parking systems based on site dimensions.

• Create proposal and approval drawings for client submission.

• Modify and update site drawings with structural, electrical, and foundation load details.

• Ensure all drawings are compliant with industry and company standards.

• Coordinate with site engineers to reflect actual conditions in the drawings.

• Create detail fabrication and installation drawings for on-site work.

For SolidWorks User:

• Design and model 3D components of stack, puzzle, and tower parking systems.

• Develop full assemblies with motion simulations (where applicable).

• Create detailed production drawings with material specifications and tolerances.

• Generate and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) linked to designs.

• Collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve technical issues.

• Perform design validation and optimization for strength and performance.

Key Skills Required

• AutoCAD: Proficiency in 2D drafting, layout planning, and site-related detailing.

• SolidWorks: Expertise in 3D modeling, assembly design, and production drawings.

• Understanding of mechanical components like platforms, lifts, hydraulic systems, etc.

• Knowledge of GD&T, welding symbols, and fabrication tolerances.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural/site drawings.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

• Experience in car parking system design (preferred).

• Familiar with IS/ASTM/Euro design standards for structures (added advantage).
