We are seeking a qualified and motivated High Court Advocate to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal principles, excellent research and drafting skills, and the ability to represent clients effectively in court and before legal authorities. The role involves providing sound legal advice, preparing documentation, and managing cases from initiation to resolution.
Represent clients in civil, criminal, corporate, or administrative proceedings.
Draft, review, and vet contracts, pleadings, affidavits, legal notices, and other documents.
Conduct legal research and prepare case briefs, opinions, and strategies.
Appear and argue matters before Courts, Tribunals, Commissions, and other authorities.
Liaise with clients, opposing counsel, and government departments.
Maintain accurate case records and documentation.
Stay updated with amendments, judgments, and legal developments relevant to practice areas.
Provide legal opinions and risk assessments to clients or internal departments.
Handle negotiations and dispute resolution where applicable.
LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from a recognized university.
Enrollment with the Bar Council (mandatory).
5–6 years (or as applicable) of post-enrollment experience in legal practice.
Strong command over legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Familiarity with court procedures and filing processes.
High level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
