Job Description – Hostel Warden
Location: Vidiyal Residency, Hosur
Salary: Up to ₹4,00,000 per annum

Shift: Rotational (3 shifts, with 24x7 availability during emergencies)
About the Role
We are looking for female hostel wardens who will play a key role in managing hostel operations, ensuring the safety, discipline, and well-being of residents, and creating a supportive environment inside the campus.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Care & Safety
● Ensure a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for all residents.
● Handle emergencies, arrange frst-aid/medical support, and coordinate with hospitals when required.
● Conduct safety checks and participate in emergency drills.
Hostel Operations
● Allot rooms and maintain accurate resident records.
● Supervise housekeeping, food services, and other service providers.
● Monitor attendance, daily reports, and incident logs.
● Ensure upkeep of hostel facilities and common areas.
Discipline & Grievance Handling
● Maintain discipline and ensure hostel rules are followed.
● Address grievances and escalate issues to senior management when necessary.
● Communicate with parents/guardians regarding indiscipline or emergencies.
Reporting & Documentation
● Submit daily reports on hostel operations and resident well-being.
● Maintain registers for attendance, staff shifts, incidents, and compliance checks. ● Cooperate with audits and ensure accurate data management.
Qualifcations & Skills
● Graduate in any discipline with minimum 3 years’ experience in hostel/residential facility management.
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
○ Ability to manage conflicts and handle stressful situations calmly.
● Fluency in English + one local language (Tamil/Kannada/Hindi preferred).
● Age group: 30–40 years preferred (Female candidates only).
Work Conditions
● Residential role – warden must stay within hostel premises.
● Rotational shifts (3 shifts), with readiness for 24x7 emergency support.
● Uniform and ID card to be worn during duty hours.
● Police verification, medical test, and background check are mandatory.
