Key Responsibilities:
Installation & Assembly:
Install and assemble furniture, lighting, wall art, drapery, and other decorative elements according to design plans and client specifications.
Technical Work:
Perform necessary technical tasks, such as wiring light fixtures, building custom shelving, and ensuring all installations meet safety and functional standards.
Maintenance & Repair:
Handle repairs and maintenance for installed decor, ensuring items remain in good condition and function correctly.
Client & Team Collaboration:
Work closely with interior designers, decorators, contractors, and clients to understand project requirements and ensure successful implementation.
Sourcing & Logistics:
May be involved in sourcing materials, managing inventory of decor items and tools, and coordinating with suppliers for timely delivery.
Problem-Solving:
Address technical challenges, unexpected issues, and client concerns during the installation and maintenance process.
Quality Control:
Conduct quality checks to ensure all installations are neat, secure, and align with the overall design vision.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:
Experience with hand and power tools, basic carpentry, electrical knowledge (for lighting), and an ability to read and interpret design plans.
Attention to Detail:
A keen eye for detail to ensure precise and aesthetically pleasing installations.
Creativity:
The ability to creatively problem-solve and find practical solutions to achieve design goals.
