🔧 Primary Role

A Boiler Helper assists technicians in the maintenance, operations and repair of boilers, and related systems. They ensure smooth operations by handling support tasks that require physical labor, basic technical skills, and safety awareness.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

• Assembly & Installation

  • Help position and align boiler components for welding or bolting.

  • Assist in fitting, clamping, and securing parts under supervision.

• Maintenance & Cleaning

  • Clean boilers, tanks, and work areas using scrapers, steam, or water hoses.

  • Remove rust, slag, and grease from surfaces using wire brushes or grinders.

  • Perform routine checks to identify wear or damage.

• Material Handling

  • Transport tools, equipment, and parts using hand trucks or manually.

  • Unload materials safely.

  • Organize and maintain tools.

• Support During Repairs

  • Hold or position parts during welding or repair work.

  • Unbolt or reassemble components using hand tools.

  • Assist in replacing defective parts under guidance.

• Safety & Compliance

  • Follow safety protocols during all tasks.

  • Wear appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).

  • Support emergency procedures when needed.

• Communication & Teamwork

  • Coordinate with operators

  • Report issues or irregularities promptly.

  • Maintain clear communication to ensure task accuracy.
