We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fitter specializing in Fire Protection Systems to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing fire suppression systems such as sprinklers, hydrants, and piping networks in accordance with safety codes and project specifications.

🔨 Key Responsibilities:

●     Install fire protection systems including sprinkler heads, piping, valves, and pumps.

●     Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

●     Ensure compliance with local fire safety regulations and standards (e.g., NFPA, IS codes).

●     Conduct pressure testing, flushing, and commissioning of fire systems.

●     Collaborate with engineers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure timely execution.

●     Perform routine maintenance and repairs on installed systems.

●     Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and service reports.

●     Follow safety protocols and use appropriate PPE at all times.

🎯 Requirements:

●     Experience: Minimum 1 years as a fitter in fire protection systems on construction sites.

●     Technical Skills: Proficient in pipe fitting, threading, welding (if required), and system testing.

●     Knowledge: Familiarity with fire codes, standards, and hydraulic calculations.

●     Education: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or relevant trade preferred.

●     Certifications: Fire safety or plumbing certifications are a plus.

●     Physical Fitness: Ability to work in physically demanding environments and at heights.

●     Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
