We are looking for an experienced Welder & Fitter with a strong background in fabrication to join our manufacturing unit. The role involves fabrication, assembly and installation of mechanical structures/components. Prior hands-on experience in fabrication is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication, fitting and welding of steel structures as per engineering drawings and instructions

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings/blueprints with precision

• Carry out MIG, TIG or ARC welding as per requirement to assemble and install frames, base plates and mechanical structures

• Use hand tools, grinders, gas cutters, measuring instruments and other fabrication tools

• Mark, cut, bend and fit metal components with accuracy

• Inspect and measure finished pieces to ensure specifications and quality standards

• Coordinate with the production supervisor and assembly team to ensure smooth workflow

• Maintain tools & equipment in good working condition and follow all safety procedures during operations

• Assist in the installation and commissioning of completed systems at client sites (if required)Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum 1–3 years prior experience in fabrication / welding / fitting.

  • Strong knowledge of materials, welding symbols, tolerances, and fabrication standards

  • ITI (Welder / Fitter / Fabrication) preferred

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Physically fit and comfortable working in workshop/site environment
