Position: Bar Bender / Rod Binder

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret structural drawings, bar bending schedules (BBS), and reinforcement requirements.

• Cut, bend, shape, and place reinforcement steel bars and meshes as per specifications.

• Tie rebar using appropriate tools and ensure correct spacing, alignment, and strength.

• Assist in lifting, positioning, and securing rebar frameworks for beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.

• Ensure all reinforcement work meets safety, quality, and engineering standards.

• Coordinate with masons, carpenters, and site supervisors to complete reinforcement work efficiently.

• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.

• Adhere to site safety protocols and use PPE at all times.

Skills & Requirements:

• Hands-on experience in rebar cutting, bending, and fixing.

• Ability to read simple engineering drawings and BBS (preferred).

• Good physical fitness and ability to work under site conditions.

• Knowledge of safety standards related to reinforcement work.

• Teamwork, discipline, and punctuality.
