SOPS For Xray Technician

1.       Compliance Authority: Xray  technician

2.       Guidelines:

·         Technician should be dressed neatly and tidily as it’s the first look of the Office. He/She should follow the dress code strictly.

·         Technicians should give Official nos or email ids of the concerned person only after comprehensive verification.

·         Once the patient are at the department the concerned person should take the prescription & confirm the test that patient wants to do

·         After Understanding the history of the patients properly the Technician should make him/her aware for the preparation of the test if any special preparation required for the same & Make them  aware about required time for diagnosis .

·         Maintain the film record in the PCS Software.

·         Maintain  the requirement for the medicine & Equipment & give the same it to center head before 7 days

·         Do the entries after confirming the report status if any report was not received because of any unavoidable resone then receptionist should be informed immediately & make sure that same should be communicated to patient . Make the column wise entries in the register.

·         In case of any technical issue inform the center head   immediately

·         Every patient should be escorted well by the coordinator or word boy+  in the Center premise,

·         After Office hours, the technician should ensure that all the office related material is locked and kept inside the respective drawers.

·         At any given time if any un-expected incident takes place at the department, he/she should report it to the management.

·         Receptionist should be always seated at her desk and in his /her absence; it should be handed over to the responsible person.

·         Receptionist should give Official nos or email ids of the concerned person only after comprehensive verification.

·         Once the patient are at the department the concerned person should take the prescription & confirm the test that patient wants to do

·         The receptionist should make him/her aware for the preparation of the test if any special preparation required for the same .If not  then prepare the  patients for the test .

·         Make the reports & Save images for the sono, Xray, Dept. Make the column wise entries in the register.

·         PNDT Documentation should be maintained & furnish the same while PNDT Audit

·         PNDT Online info should be maintain.& Monthly reports should be submitted before 3rd of the each month to the PNDT Office

·         If the patient has come to collect reports, he/she should be handed over the same after confirming the payment of dues if any.

·         Report should be given to the patients within 30 mins.

·         If the patient  has come to collect report, the person should not be made to seat beyond 30 mins.

·         Every patient should be escorted well by the coordinator or word boy+  in the Center premise,

·         After Office hours, the receptionist should ensure that all the office related material is locked and kept inside the respective drawers.

·         At any given time if any un-expected incident takes place at the department, he/she should report it to the management.
