• conduct analysis and interpretation of various diagnostic test from blood samples to identify abnormalities, blood disorders, infections, and other medical conditions;

• Prepare accurate and comprehensive pathology reports based on the analysis of samples, highlighting the findings and necessary recommendations for further treatment.

2. Clinical Consultation:

• As and when required, provide consultation to referring physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals on test results and their implications for patient management;

3. Quality Control and Assurance:

• Monitoring and implementation of quality control processes to maintain high standards of accuracy, precision, and reliability in diagnostic tests.

• Ensuring the calibration of equipment(s), which affect test quality and to maintain their records.

4. Supervision of Laboratory Procedures:

• Oversee laboratory staff and processes to ensure compliance with standard protocols, safety regulations, and efficient workflow.

• Responsible to check the outsourced reports.

• Involved in framing policies for day-to-day administrative operations and maintenance such as attendance, cleanliness, etc.

• Perform all other job functions which are covered under Lab Director in absence of LD.
