Key Responsibilities
Collect, label, prepare, and analyze biological, chemical, or environmental samples
Operate, calibrate, clean, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment (microscopes, centrifuges, spectrometers, pipettes, etc.)
Execute tests following standard operating procedures and protocols
Record detailed observations, maintain accurate logs, and produce lab reports (written or electronic)
Ensure safety compliance: handle hazardous materials, follow sterilization, waste disposal, and biosafety guidelines
Manage inventory and reorder lab supplies as needed
Participate in quality-control checks and audits
Support research or product‑development efforts: assist with method validation, experiments, and troubleshooting
Collaborate with team members—scientists, clinicians, engineers—to achieve project goals
Required Qualifications
Professional certification (DMLT, MLT)
1–3 years of experience in a clinical, research, or industrial lab
Familiarity with specific testing areas (microbiology, hematology, environmental assays)
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Medical Technology, or related field
Hands-on experience with lab tools: pipetting, sterilization, microscope use, and calibration
Familiarity with LIMS or data-recording systems and basic MS Office
Knowledge of safety protocols and regulatory compliance (GLP, QHSE, biosafety)
