About the Role
We’re seeking a dedicated and licensed pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. You’ll ensure accurate medication dispensing, provide expert patient care, manage inventory efficiently, and uphold compliance with all legal and regulatory standards—all while supporting a collaborative healthcare environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesDispense Medications: Accurately label, package, and prepare prescriptions; verify orders and dosages; check for interactions and contraindications
Patient Counselling & Support: Educate patients and caregivers on proper usage, storage, side effects, and adherence strategies .
Medication Therapy Management: Monitor and review patients’ drug regimens; collaborate with healthcare professionals for optimization and intervention .
Inventory & Operations Management: Track inventory levels, place orders, remove expired or recalled stock, and ensure proper storage
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Supervise pharmacy technicians/interns; support their training and workflow; engage with physicians, nurses, and other care providers
Continuous Professional Development: Stay current with pharmaceutical advances, industry regulations, and participate in professional workshops/seminars
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD/M-Pharm) from an accredited institution.
Valid pharmacist license in [State/Province], in good standing.
Proven experience in a retail, clinical, or hospital pharmacy setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of medication safety, drug interactions, and pharmacotherapy.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Leadership experience in supervising staff or mentoring interns is an advantage.
