Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Pharmacist to join our team. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, counseling patients, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall health and well-being of patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications to patients accurately and efficiently.

• Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure dosage, drug interactions, and patient safety.

• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage.

• Maintain patient medication records and ensure confidentiality.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to pharmacy practice.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize patient treatment plans.

• Manage inventory, check for expired drugs, and place orders for pharmaceutical supplies.

• Monitor controlled substance logs and maintain accurate records.

• Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D).

• Valid pharmacist license/registration as required by state or national regulations.

• Proven experience as a pharmacist (preferably 1–2 years; freshers may also be considered).

• Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations.

• Proficient in pharmacy software and MS Office tools.

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Sound knowledge of pharmacology and drug interactions.

• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Work Environment:

• May require standing for long periods.

• Work in hospital, retail pharmacy, or clinical setting depending on the role.
