Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed and detail-oriented Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing professional advice on the proper use of prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and interpret physician prescriptions for accuracy and safety.

Dispense prescribed medications to patients and provide information on dosage, potential side effects, and interactions.

Monitor patient medication therapies and offer counsel on correct usage.

Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws related to pharmacy practice.

Collaborate with healthcare providers to review and adjust medications as needed.

Manage inventory, place orders, and check for expired or low-stock medicines.

Educate patients on over-the-counter medications and general health practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm / Pharm.D) from an accredited institution.

Valid state pharmacy license.

Proven experience as a pharmacist (preferred).

Strong understanding of dosage requirements, side effects, and drug interactions.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with pharmacy management software.

Experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy setting.

Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
