PHARMACIST
Job Summary: The Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate dispensing of prescription medications, providing information about drugs and their proper use, and ensuring patient safety in drug administration. They work closely with healthcare professionals and patients to promote the safe and effective use of pharmaceutical drugs. --- Key Responsibilities: Dispense prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner. Counsel patients on medication usage, dosage, side effects, and storage. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards (e.g., FDA, state boards). Maintain inventory of pharmaceutical drugs and order new stock as needed. Collaborate with doctors and nurses regarding prescriptions and drug therapies. Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure correctness and prevent drug interactions. Maintain proper documentation and records of dispensed drugs. Stay updated with the latest pharmaceutical research and guidelines. --- Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Pharm/Pharm.D).
