Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Technical Executive to handle installation, training, maintenance, and technical support for MRP printers and packaging machinery. The role involves on-site visits, troubleshooting, coordination with internal teams, and ensuring a smooth customer experience from pre-sales demonstrations to post-sales service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Commissioning
Install and set up MRP printers and packaging machinery at customer sites.
Conduct basic environmental checks to ensure proper machine operation.
Verify successful test prints and complete the installation checklist.
Provide basic operational training to customer staff.
2. Technical Support & Troubleshooting
Respond to customer queries and service requests promptly.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues on-site or remotely.
Coordinate with suppliers or the technical team for escalated cases.
3. Pre-Sales & Post-Sales Demonstrations
Conduct demonstrations of machines for prospective customers.
Assist the Sales team with technical insights during customer visits.
4. Maintenance & Repairs
Perform routine preventive maintenance as per service schedules.
Replace or repair faulty components to minimize downtime.
Keep records of service history for each machine.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Complete installation and service reports, including invoice numbers, purchase dates, and customer sign-off.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, parts used, and time spent.
6. Interdepartmental Coordination
Work with the Sales and Logistics teams to align installation schedules with product dispatch.
Share customer feedback and service insights with relevant departments.
Requirements
ITI / Diploma / Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in machine installation, servicing, or technical support (printing or packaging machinery preferred).
Strong problem-solving skills with hands-on technical ability.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical tools and safety procedures.
Willingness to travel for on-site visits across locations.
Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
Basic computer literacy for documentation and reporting.
