About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Engineer to manage and maintain our office IT infrastructure. This includes servers, network devices, security systems, remote access, and user support. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a detail-oriented approach, and the ability to maintain accurate IT documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Server Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows servers.

  • Monitor server performance, storage, and backups.

  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.

• Network Administration

  • Configure, manage, and troubleshoot managed switches, routers, and firewalls.

  • Maintain VPN access for remote employees.

  • Monitor network performance and ensure connectivity.

• User & Device Support

  • Set up and maintain Thin Clients, desktops, and laptops.

  • Provide RDP (Remote Desktop Protocol) setup and support for work-from-home or branch users.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

• Security & Surveillance

  • Manage and monitor CCTV camera systems.

  • Ensure proper recording, storage, and retrieval of security footage.

• IT Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Ensure proper functioning of office printers, biometric devices, and other IT hardware.

  • Perform regular system and network audits to ensure compliance and security.

• Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain complete and accurate records of all IT-related activities, configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps.

  • Keep IT asset inventory, and maintenance logs updated.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer / System Administrator

• Strong knowledge of:

  • Windows Server Administration

  • Active Directory, DNS, DHCP

  • Managed Switch & Router Configuration

  • VPN Setup & Management

  • RDP Configuration

  • CCTV Installation & Management

  • Thin Client Setup

• Familiarity with IT security best practices.

• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
