Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Field Service Engineer with 1–3 years of hands-on experience in technical services, field support, or engineering roles. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in at least three of the following areas: Computer Hardware & Networking, Barcode Mobility & Printers, Factory Automation (PLC, Wiring/Sensor systems), and Wireless Networking.
This role will focus specifically on the configuration, installation, and troubleshooting of WiFi systems, routers, switches, barcode printers, and mobile applications at client locations. The candidate must be willing to travel locally and provide technical support at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
· Configure, install, and troubleshoot:
o WiFi systems, routers, and switches
o Barcode printers and scanners
o Mobile applications (Android-based enterprise tools)
· Provide on-site technical support to resolve hardware and connectivity issues.
· Perform routine maintenance, testing, and repair of installed equipment.
· Maintain proper documentation of installations, issues, and service reports.
· Collaborate with internal technical teams to resolve complex issues.
· Travel to client sites for field support and service calls.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, or related field.
· 1–3 years of relevant experience in technical support, networking, or field engineering.
· Expertise in at least 3 of the following:
o Computer Hardware & Networking
o Barcode Printer & Mobility
o Factory Automation (PLC, Wiring, Sensors, Vision Camera)
o Wireless Networking (WiFi, Access Points, RF Switches)
· Experience with WiFi/router/switch setup and troubleshooting.
· Familiarity with barcode devices and mobile applications.
· Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in the field.
· Valid two-wheeler license and willingness to travel locally.
Preferred Skills:
· Good communication skills for client interaction.
· Experience in managing technical service requests at client sites.
Understanding of safety protocols in technical field operations.
