About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to employees, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure the smooth functioning of our IT systems. The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, a problem solver, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level technical support to end users (onsite & remote).
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, printers, and other IT equipment.
Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and system updates.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in systems like AD, Office 365, etc.
Monitor and maintain office LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, routers, and switches.
Handle IT asset inventory, including laptops, desktops, peripherals, and licenses.
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, warranty claims, and procurement.
Ensure data security, backups, and adherence to IT policies.
Document issues, resolutions, and maintain incident logs in the ticketing system.
Support new joiner onboarding — system setup, email creation, device configuration.
Provide training/guidance to employees on IT tools and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or relevant experience).
1–3 years of IT support/helpdesk experience.
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and hardware troubleshooting.
Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365, antivirus tools, and ticketing systems.
Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and network basics.
Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under minimal supervision.
