Job Title: Laptop Hardware Support Engineer (Field Support)
Job Type: Independent Contractor (Long-Term Contract)
Location: Multiple Locations Compensation: ₹200 per service ticket (inclusive of travel and other expenses)
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled and self-motivated Laptop Hardware Support Engineers for on-site support of Dell, Lenovo, and other branded laptops. This is a long-term, contract-based opportunity ideal for individuals comfortable working independently in the field.
Key Requirements:
• Total Years of Experience: 6 months to 3 years
• Relevant Experience in Dell/Lenovo or Any Laptop Hardware Support: min 6 months
• Current Location: Guindy Chennai.
• Notice Period (if any): immediately
• Possession of a Two-Wheeler and Valid Driving License: Mandatory
• Open to ₹200 per Ticket (Inclusive of Travel & All)
• Willingness to Work on Long-Term Contract as an Independent Contractor
Responsibilities:
• On-site diagnosis and repair of hardware issues in laptops (Dell, Lenovo, and others)
• Component replacement and part-level support (RAM, HDD/SSD, keyboard, display, etc.)
• Coordinating with backend support for ticket updates and closures
• Timely response to assigned service calls
• Ensuring customer satisfaction and reporting issues to the coordinator
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Prior hands-on experience with Dell/Lenovo laptop servicing
• Strong understanding of laptop hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Must have a two-wheeler with a valid driving license
• Should be reliable, punctual, and professional in field communication
• Comfortable with daily travel to client locations within assigned regions
Note: This is not a salaried position. Payment is based on the number of tickets serviced.
