We are seeking a skilled IT Hardware Technician with hands-on experience in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of CCTV, access control systems, and related security hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in deploying and supporting physical security systems across commercial or industrial environments.
Installation & Setup
Install and configure CCTV systems (IP & analog cameras), NVRs/DVRs.
Install and integrate access control systems, including biometric, RFID, and keypad-based door entry systems.
Mount cameras, run cables, and position hardware as per design plans or customer specifications.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting
Perform regular maintenance checks and firmware updates.
Diagnose and resolve hardware or software faults in surveillance and access systems.
Replace or repair defective equipment, cabling, or components.
System Integration
Integrate CCTV and access control systems with other IT systems such as alarms, intercoms, or network infrastructure.
Work with network teams to ensure proper IP addressing, port forwarding, and connectivity.
Documentation & Reporting
Maintain accurate records of installations, configurations, and service activities.
Generate reports for system status, usage, or incident reviews.
Customer Support
Provide on-site or remote technical support to clients or internal users.
Educate users on system use and basic troubleshooting.
Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with CCTV and access control systems.
Familiarity with security systems hardware (Hikvision, Dahua, ZKTeco, Suprema, etc.).
Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, switches, routers).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
Valid driver's license (if job involves travel).
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
Physical ability to work on ladders or in tight spaces.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Certifications in security systems (e.g., Hikvision Certified, ZKTeco Training, etc.).
Experience with alarm systems, intercoms, or video analytics software.
Knowledge of industry security standards and compliance.
