Job Summary:

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented IT Hardware Technician to support and maintain our company’s computer systems and hardware infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing computer hardware, servers, and related equipment. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of IT hardware and providing technical support to users.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT peripherals.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, and network devices.

• Set up and manage IT equipment for new hires and internal relocations.

• Conduct regular hardware diagnostics and perform preventive maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records of hardware inventory, asset tagging, and related documentation.

• Upgrade or replace hardware components such as RAM, storage drives, and graphics cards.

• Manage email and web hosting services, including setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Oversee domain and website management, ensuring proper configuration and uptime.

• Possess working knowledge of server systems and their maintenance.

• Perform system updates and debugging to ensure optimal performance and security.

• Assist in data backup, recovery processes, and system upgrades as needed.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other essential productivity tools.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an IT Hardware Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
