AV & IT Solutions Demo Specialist
Looking for demo center manager for Audio-Visual (AV) professional responsible for operating a dedicated space to showcase AV products and solutions, ensuring the equipment is functional, presenting demos, and supporting the sales team to win new business. The role requires strong knowledge of AV systems , hands-on technical skills for setting up video walls and conferencing systems, and the ability to conduct customer-focused product demonstrations and support sales activities.
Key Responsibilities
Demo Center Operations:
Manage the daily operations of the demo center, ensuring all AV, display, and kiosk solutions are always functional, well-maintained, and presentable.
Product Demos & Presentations:
Conduct product demonstrations, perform site surveys, and prepare custom demos for clients and potential customers.
Technical Support:
Provide hands-on technical support for AV products, including video conferencing (VC) systems, digital signage, control systems, and video walls.
Sales & Pre-Sales Support:
Support the sales and business development teams by providing technical expertise, assisting with RFPs (Requests for Proposals), and presenting solutions to clients.
Stay Updated:
Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in AV technology, particularly in VC, IFPDs (Interactive Flat Panel Displays), signage, and control systems.
Required Skills & Experience
AV Expertise:
Strong knowledge of leading AV brands and technologies, and various video conferencing systems.
Technical Proficiency:
Hands-on experience with setting up and configuring complex AV setups, including IFPDs and video walls, and basic networking skills.
Demonstration Skills:
Ability to deliver engaging, customer-focused product presentations and demonstrations.
Software Knowledge:
Familiarity with software like AutoCAD or Visio is often helpful for documentation and system design.
Customer Focus:
A strong focus on the customer experience and the ability to build good client relationships.
Responsible for managing the daily operations, setup, maintenance, and customer experience at the Demo Center. Ensures all AV, display, and kiosk solutions are functional, presentable, and aligned with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
· Experience in IT Hardware and Networking, Cloud Computing
Maintain and operate all demo equipment (LEDs, touch kiosks, AV systems)
Ensure daily functionality checks of devices, cables, and content
Support client demos with product walkthroughs and technical assistance
Coordinate with service & sales teams for timely updates and upgrades
Keep the space clean, organized, and presentation-ready
Report faults or issues and manage repairs/replacements swiftly
Requirements:
Hands-on experience in AV/display/kiosk systems
Good communication and coordination skills
Basic troubleshooting and technical know-how
Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
BSCIT or Similar Education
