Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Hardware and Networking Executive to manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure. The role will involve troubleshooting LAN/WAN issues, installing software and antivirus solutions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of desktops and other hardware systems. The ideal candidate should be adept at resolving technical problems efficiently and possess a strong understanding of networking and hardware systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Network Management: Troubleshoot and maintain LAN/WAN, ensuring stable and uninterrupted connectivity across all systems.
Hardware Management: Install and configure desktops, printers, and other hardware components. Provide timely hardware repairs and upgrades when necessary.
Software Installation & Support: Install, configure, and update software applications, including antivirus programs, operating systems, and business-specific applications.
Technical Support: Provide on-site and remote support to staff for troubleshooting hardware/software issues and resolving network-related problems.
System Monitoring: Regularly monitor system performance to ensure optimal operation and identify potential issues before they cause major disruptions.
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of all installed hardware, software, network configurations, and support requests.
Security Management: Ensure the installation and timely updates of antivirus software and security patches to protect the company's network and data.
Backup Management: Manage and perform regular data backups to safeguard critical information.
Skills and Qualifications:
Educational Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in hardware and networking support, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of LAN/WAN network configurations.
Hands-on experience with desktop hardware and software troubleshooting.
Proficiency in installing and managing antivirus software.
Familiarity with Windows OS, networking tools, and system performance monitoring.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills for providing technical support.
Problem-solving attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
