We are looking for a production Support Engineer to join our team at Ascend Foresight Services to resolve hardware & network issues and maintain overall IT infrastructure. This role offers an in-hand salary of ₹35000 - ₹40000 and a chance to work in a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and maintain computer systems, networks and hardware
Diagnose and fix hardware/software issues
Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity problems
Install and configure operating systems and security tools
Maintain documentation for IT procedures and system updates
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 2 - 4 years of experience. Hands-on knowledge of operating systems, routers, LAN/WAN and diagnostic tools is essential.
Responsibilities
· Monitor applications, services, and infrastructure.
· Perform incident detection and escalation as per defined SLAs.
· Run and optimize SQL queries (joins, filters, aggregations) for data validation and issue analysis.
· Execute SOPs, maintain shift handovers, and update incident logs.
· Collaborate with Application Support teams for resolution.
· Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT / related field.
· 1–2 years of experience in Production Support / Monitoring.
· Working knowledge or experience in tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, and Zabbix.
· Intermediate SQL skills for troubleshooting and validation.
· Knowledge of Linux/Unix basics, networking fundamentals, and log analysis.
· Strong problem-solving, communication, and willingness to work in 24/7 rotational shifts.
