About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Field Desktop Support Engineer to provide both in-office and on-site technical support. You will be responsible for addressing user issues related to hardware, software, and networking, along with field visits for deployments and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle user tickets and provide support for hardware, software, and network-related issues

• Visit client locations for on-site troubleshooting and support

• Perform Windows installation, data backup, and Outlook configuration

• Assist users with setting up desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals

• Conduct hardware troubleshooting, including card-level diagnosis

• Provide walk-in and remote IT support for desktops/laptops

• Support installation and configuration of applications and basic networking

• Troubleshoot across Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments

• Redeploy systems and assist with imaging and system setup

• Maintain clear documentation of support cases and resolutions

• Focus on daily ticket resolution, especially for NDC LAB-related IT support

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in desktop/field support

• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, hardware components, and software installations

• Experience in Outlook setup, data backup, and system troubleshooting

• Good understanding of basic networking and remote support tools

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Bike and valid driving license are mandatory for field visits

• Must be organized, reliable, and capable of working independently
