IT Support duties and responsibilities of the job
• Responding in a timely manner to service issues and requests.
• Providing technical support across the company (this may be in person or over the phone).
• Setting up accounts for new users.
• Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
• Manage and maintain the LAN/WAN infrastructure, Wi-Fi networks, and internet connectivity.
• Monitor system performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets including hardware and software licenses.
• Assist in server management, data backup, and disaster recovery planning.
• Manage user accounts, email IDs, and access permissions in Active Directory / O365 / Google Workspace.
Workspace:
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for IT procurement and support.
• Ensure IT policies and procedures are followed across departments.
• Support CCTV, access control, and biometric attendance systems as needed.
• Document IT issues, resolutions, and maintain service logs.
