We are looking for a skilled Resident Engineer with hands-on experience in laptop repairs, troubleshooting, and hardware replacement. The ideal candidate should be capable of providing on-site technical support, resolving hardware issues efficiently, and ensuring minimal downtime for end-users.
Perform diagnosis and troubleshooting of laptops, desktops, and related IT equipment.
Repair and replace laptop components such as RAM, SSD/HDD, keyboard, battery, display panels, motherboard components, etc.
Install, configure, and upgrade operating systems and software as required.
Coordinate with OEM support teams for escalations and warranty cases.
Maintain records of repairs, spare consumption, and service reports.
Provide on-site support to end users, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
Ensure preventive maintenance of systems and follow IT asset management processes.
Handle incident tickets and respond within defined SLAs.
