We are seeking a skilled and experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide technical assistance to end-users, troubleshoot hardware/software issues, and ensure smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of Windows-based environments.
Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT hardware
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
Provide technical support to users via phone, email, or on-site
Install and update operating systems, antivirus, and application software
Perform regular system maintenance and backups
Maintain inventory of IT assets and prepare documentation
Coordinate with vendors for hardware replacements and warranty claims
Ensure compliance with IT policies and security protocols
Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in desktop or IT support
Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, basic networking, and troubleshooting
Experience with printers, scanners, LAN/WAN, and remote support tools
Ability to work independently and under pressure
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science, or relevant field (preferred)
