Time: 8.30am – 8.30pm

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Lab Administrator with at least one year of relevant experience to manage the day-to-day operations of the technical or computer science lab. The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth functioning of lab resources, support faculty and students, maintain inventory, and enforce safety and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain lab equipment, systems, and infrastructure

• Provide technical support to faculty and students during lab sessions

• Monitor usage of lab resources and ensure optimal availability

• Install, configure, and update software as required

• Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and lab supplies

• Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the lab environment

• Coordinate with IT and vendors for equipment servicing and upgrades

• Document lab procedures, incidents, and maintenance logs

• Support in conducting workshops, exams, or training sessions held in the lab

• Assist with network and system troubleshooting as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in lab administration or technical support

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (preferred)

• Good understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems

• Familiarity with lab management procedures and technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

• Certification in hardware/networking or system administration

• Experience with Linux or Windows server environments

• Exposure to academic or training institution workflows
