We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure that all cleanliness, sanitation, and guest service standards are met in a timely and efficient manner. The Housekeeping Supervisor will oversee the daily activities of the housekeeping department and ensure a clean, orderly, and attractive environment for guests and staff.
Supervise housekeeping staff and delegate tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas regularly to ensure cleanliness and maintenance.
Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and equipment.
Train new housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
Prepare staff schedules and manage attendance records.
Report maintenance issues to the relevant department promptly.
Address guest complaints or requests related to housekeeping services in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain inventory of linens, cleaning products, and equipment.
Assist in recruiting and evaluating housekeeping staff.
Proven experience in housekeeping or a related field, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff and guests.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Certificate or diploma in hospitality management is a plus.
Minimum 2–3 years of housekeeping experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Physically demanding role; must be able to lift, bend, and be on feet for extended periods.
Fast-paced environment with the need to manage multiple tasks.
