The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations within the mall premises to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and a pleasant environment for customers, tenants, and staff. The role involves supervising housekeeping staff, maintaining service standards, and coordinating with vendors to ensure compliance with safety and cleanliness norms.
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across common areas, restrooms, food courts, parking areas, and offices.
Ensure cleanliness standards are maintained as per mall and statutory guidelines.
Allocate duties, manage duty rosters, and monitor attendance of housekeeping staff.
Conduct regular inspections and address any cleanliness or hygiene issues promptly.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors for housekeeping supplies and services.
Ensure proper usage and maintenance of cleaning equipment and materials.
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety practices, and customer etiquette.
Handle customer complaints related to housekeeping and ensure quick resolution.
Maintain records for housekeeping schedules, consumables, and staff performance.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
Minimum qualification: 10th / 12th pass (Diploma in Facility Management is an added advantage).
5–15 years of experience in housekeeping supervision, preferably in malls, hospitals, hotels, or large commercial spaces.
Good knowledge of cleaning methods, chemicals, and equipment.
Ability to manage large teams and work in shifts.
Strong communication and basic reporting skills.
Customer-focused and proactive in problem-solving.
Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physically fit to oversee large premises and conduct inspections.
Experience working in malls, multiplexes, or large retail environments.
Familiarity with vendor management and compliance standards.
