Supervise daily housekeeping operations and ensure all assigned areas are clean, well-maintained, and presentable.
Assign duties to housekeeping staff and monitor their performance throughout the day.
Conduct regular inspections of rooms, washrooms, corridors, and other areas to maintain hygiene and quality standards.
Ensure the proper use and maintenance of cleaning materials, tools, and equipment.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, uniforms, and other housekeeping materials; raise requisitions as needed.
Train housekeeping staff on cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
Handle guest or employee complaints regarding cleanliness and take immediate corrective actions.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with the maintenance department for repair or replacement of damaged fixtures and equipment.
Maintain attendance records and work reports of housekeeping staff.
Monitor the proper segregation and disposal of waste in accordance with environmental and company policies.
Support in managing outsourced housekeeping contracts (if applicable).
Ensure housekeeping staff follow grooming standards and professional conduct at all times.
Report any major maintenance or safety issues to the concerned department immediately.
