Key Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Planning
· Lead and oversee all housekeeping and facility services operations across Vedaanta Senior Living communities in South India.
· Develop, standardize, and implement SOPs for housekeeping, laundry, pest control, sanitation, and common area upkeep.
· Plan staffing structures, training modules, and shift rosters in alignment with operational needs.
2. Operations Management
· Monitor daily housekeeping and services operations to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards are met consistently across all communities.
· Conduct periodic audits, inspections, and walkthroughs to ensure SOP compliance and quality of service.
· Manage third-party service providers (if any) and enforce SLAs.
3. Pre-Opening & Community Setup
· Play a key role in setting up housekeeping and services infrastructure at new communities.
· Define requirement plans for manpower, machinery, cleaning agents, and SOPs for upcoming sites.
· Work closely with Projects, Procurement, and Resident Management teams during pre-launch phases.
4. Cross-Functional Coordination
Work closely and collaboratively with:
· Resident Managers to ensure day-to-day service delivery meets resident expectations.
· Wellness Coordinators to align cleanliness, hygiene, and schedules for wellness and fitness areas.
· F&B Managers to ensure coordination of services in dining areas, kitchen hygiene, linen, and waste management.
5. Team Leadership & Development
· Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping supervisors and service staff across all communities.
· Conduct periodic training on elderly-sensitive services, safety, and soft skills if necessary.
· Promote a culture of responsibility, respect, and empathy in all service interactions.
6. Budgeting & Vendor Management
· Prepare and manage housekeeping and services budgets for each community.
· Identify and onboard vendors for linen, cleaning supplies, pest control, and other consumables.
· Track consumption, inventory, and cost optimization measures across sites.
7. Travel & Site Oversight
· Travel regularly across all operational communities in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka to ensure uniformity and high-quality service standards.
· Be the escalation point for community-specific service challenges and provide on-ground support to Resident Managers.
8. Resident Experience & Feedback
· Collaborate with Wellness and Resident Relations teams to understand resident feedback and drive improvements.
· Ensure all services are delivered with dignity, discretion, and a high degree of senior-friendly sensitivity.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
· Proven experience in leading housekeeping and facility services in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality environments.
· Strong understanding of service excellence, hygiene and safety standards, and people management.
· Excellent interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
· Demonstrated ability to lead and train teams, manage vendors, and implement SOPs across multiple locations.
· Willingness to travel extensively across Kerala, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
· Fluency in Tamil and English is mandatory. Knowledge of Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi will be considered an added advantage.
