Position: Housekeeping Boy
Department: Housekeeping / Administration
Location: As per company requirement
Reporting To: Housekeeping Supervisor / Admin Manager

Job Summary

The Housekeeping Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper arrangement of office premises. He ensures that all areas such as workstations, meeting rooms, washrooms, pantry, and common areas are kept clean and well-maintained to provide a comfortable environment for employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain office floors, desks, cabins, meeting rooms, and common areas.

• Dust furniture, equipment, windows, and other surfaces regularly.

• Ensure cleanliness of washrooms and refill items like soap, tissue paper, and hand wash.

• Collect and dispose of garbage from all departments properly.

• Serve tea, coffee, and water to staff and guests when required.

• Maintain cleanliness of pantry area and assist in pantry-related work.

• Arrange meeting rooms before and after meetings.

• Support office staff in shifting files, documents, and small office items when required.

• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning materials and equipment.

• Report any maintenance issues (leakage, damage, etc.) to the supervisor.

• Follow hygiene and safety standards while performing duties.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: 8th / 10th pass.

• Basic knowledge of cleaning and housekeeping practices.

• Ability to follow instructions and maintain discipline.

• Polite behaviour and good attitude with staff and visitors.

• Physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties.

Experience

• 0–1 years of experience in housekeeping (office, hotel, or facility management preferred).
