Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and public areas while ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for guests. Handles guest requests professionally and delivers high service standards.
Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and common areas.
Change bed linens, replace towels, and replenish room supplies.
Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and sanitizing surfaces.
Ensure proper use of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
Follow hotel cleanliness and safety standards.
Greet guests politely and respond to their requests promptly.
Assist guests with room-related queries and amenities.
Provide extra supplies (pillows, towels, toiletries, water, etc.) as requested.
Handle guest complaints politely and forward to supervisor if required.
Maintain confidentiality and guest privacy at all times.
Follow room cleaning checklists and standard operating procedures.
Maintain housekeeping trolley and storage area neat and organized.
Coordinate with front office for room status updates (vacant/occupied/clean).
Ensure lost & found items are reported and recorded properly.
Participate in training and maintain hotel grooming standards.
Good communication & polite guest interaction
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and chemicals
Basic English / Hindi communication

10th(preferred)
Prior hotel / housekeeping experience preferred
