To maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the restaurant premises — including dining areas, service stations, restrooms, and back areas — ensuring a pleasant and safe environment for guests and staff.
Clean and sanitize dining areas, tables, chairs, and floors regularly.
Maintain cleanliness in guest restrooms, ensuring availability of tissues, soap, and other amenities.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste as per hygiene standards.
Perform mopping, sweeping, and dusting throughout the day.
Support kitchen and service teams with cleaning of side stations, trolleys, and pantry areas.
Follow daily cleaning schedules and checklists provided by the supervisor.
Handle cleaning materials and equipment responsibly and store them properly after use.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor immediately.
Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards (FSSAI / internal hygiene policies).
Maintain a polite and cooperative attitude towards guests and staff.
Basic understanding of cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards during busy hours.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and color-coding system (preferred).
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
