Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in assigned areas such as guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public spaces. The role involves routine cleaning, replenishing supplies, and ensuring a clean and comfortable environment for guests, patients, or staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas according to standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows or glass surfaces.
Report any damage, maintenance issues, or lost and found items.
Restock room or supply carts with linens, toiletries, and cleaning products.
Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals.
Handle guest requests courteously and promptly (in hotel or hospitality settings).
Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
Follow departmental SOPs and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Maintain personal hygiene and always wear the prescribed uniform.
