Job Title: Dishwasher / Steward (Dish Washing)

Job Purpose:
To maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene by ensuring that all kitchen utensils, cutlery, crockery, and cooking equipment are washed, sanitized, and stored properly, supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, kitchen tools, and utensils using the dishwashing machine and manual methods as required.
Ensure proper segregation and storage of clean dishes and utensils.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the dishwashing area, sinks, and kitchen floors at all times.
Dispose of kitchen waste and segregate wet and dry garbage as per the restaurant's waste management practices.
Assist in cleaning kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas as directed by the supervisor.
Refill cleaning supplies (detergents, sanitizers, etc.) and report when stock is low.
Cooperate with chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations, especially during peak hours.
Perform deep cleaning tasks as per the cleaning schedule.
