ey Responsibilities
• Set up tables according to company standards, ensuring all cutlery, plates, napkins, and condiments are placed correctly before each service.
• Clean and reset tables promptly after guests leave, and maintain the overall tidiness of the dining area, including sweeping floors and arranging chairs.
• Greet guests warmly as a host; manage waiting lists, guide customers to their seats, and provide menus.
• Take and serve orders efficiently, addressing guest queries about the menu and assisting with recommendations as needed.
• Operate the billing system or POS terminal, accurately generate bills, process payments (cash/card), and handle receipts as the biller.
• Handle guest feedback or complaints professionally, ensuring immediate resolution or escalation as required.
• Support other staff by cross-training in multiple positions, helping during peak hours or when staff coverage is low, to ensure seamless restaurant operations.
• Follow hygiene and safety protocols at all times, including handwashing, wearing proper attire, and keeping the service environment clean.
