About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MERN Stack Developer with strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, and Node.js. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in the Fintech domain, building scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. This role requires solid frontend and backend skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, Node.js).

• Implement authentication, authorization, and data validation for secure applications.

• Build and manage RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration between client and server.

• Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) with Next.js for performance and SEO optimization.

• Develop reusable UI components and ensure responsive design across devices and browsers.

• Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and reliability.

• Design and optimize database schemas, indexes, and queries in MongoDB.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, mobile developers, QA, and product managers.

• Participate in code reviews, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, frameworks, and best practices.

• Required Skills & Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience (Fintech background mandatory).

• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express.js, React.js/Next.js, and MongoDB.

• Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend practices.

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations.

• Familiarity with Redux/Context API for state management.

• Solid knowledge of MongoDB design, schema modeling, indexing, and query optimization.

• Experience with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD workflows.

• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in production environments.

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript for strongly-typed development.

• Exposure to GraphQL for advanced API design.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or microservices architecture.

• Prior experience in startup or product-driven environments.
