Job Summary: We are seeking a talented and creative WordPress Website Designer with a strong understanding of digital marketing principles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining a variety of websites, including business, e-commerce, and blog sites. This role requires a hands-on approach to both design and digital marketing, with a focus on creating aesthetically pleasing, user-friendly, and high-performing websites.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Development:

Design and build responsive, visually appealing, and functional websites using WordPress, from concept to completion.

Create and customize themes and templates to meet specific client or business needs.

Manage and optimize website performance, security, and backups.

Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and technical problems promptly.

Integrate necessary plugins and tools (e.g., e-commerce platforms like WooCommerce, contact forms, SEO plugins).

Digital Marketing:

Develop and execute digital marketing strategies to improve website traffic, conversions, and brand visibility.

Implement on-page SEO best practices (keyword research, meta tags, content optimization) to enhance search engine rankings.

Manage and create content for social media platforms to drive engagement and website traffic.

Social Media & Content Creation:

Design engaging graphics, banners, and other visual content for websites and social media using tools like Canva.

Develop and maintain a consistent brand identity across all digital platforms.

Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with clients or internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their goals.

Communicate project updates, timelines, and challenges effectively.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in WordPress, digital marketing, and web design.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in designing and building websites using WordPress.

Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of websites (business, e-commerce, blogs).

Expertise in using page builders like Elementor, Divi, or others.

Solid understanding of digital marketing principles, including SEO, content marketing, and social media marketing.

Proficiency in social media management and content creation.

Experience with Canva or similar graphic design tools.

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
