Job Description:

We are looking for one of our clients for an experienced DTP Operator to join a reputed publishing house. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and formatting complete books and content using Adobe InDesign and related tools. A DTP Operator combines text and graphics, formats layouts, and prepares files for both digital publishing and print production.

Key Responsibilities:

Layout and typesetting of books and documents using Adobe InDesign

Combine text, images, and graphic elements to produce final page layouts

Ensure consistency in formatting, fonts, styles, and visual flow

Prepare high-quality, print-ready and digital files

Work collaboratively with editors, designers, and the printing team to meet deadlines

Skills Required:

Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop

Sound understanding of typesetting, layout design, and print publishing standards

Keen eye for detail and quality

Ability to handle both image-based and text-heavy formatting

Experience:

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in DTP, preferably within a publishing environment

Salary:

₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and skill level)

Work Type:

Full-time, on-site role at College Street, Kolkata
