Job summary
The Sales and Marketing Executive will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and automation products, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.
Key responsibilities
Sales and business development
Identify, develop, and pursue new business opportunities within the electrical and industrial automation markets.
Generate new leads through various channels, such as cold calling, networking, and referrals.
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients, including builders, interior designers, contractors, and engineers.
Analyze customer requirements and recommend appropriate electrical and automation solutions, such as PLCs, drives, control panels, smart switches, and sensors.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and meet sales goals.
Marketing and brand promotion
Develop and execute targeted marketing strategies and campaigns for electrical and automation products.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.
Plan and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company and its offerings.
Manage digital marketing efforts, including website content, social media, and email campaigns.
Create marketing materials, such as brochures, presentations, and product documentation.
Client and stakeholder management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers, distributors, and other key stakeholders.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Gather customer feedback and relay market insights to the product development team.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as engineering and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Qualifications and skills
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Marketing, or Business Administration.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within the electrical or automation industry.
A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Skills
Strong technical knowledge of electrical or automation products and solutions.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
