We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales operations in the construction equipment sector. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of the industry, strong customer management skills, and a proven record of achieving sales targets.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Lead and mentor a team of sales executives or territory managers.
Build strong relationships with key clients, dealers, contractors, and government departments.
Identify new business opportunities in assigned territory or region.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to adapt strategies accordingly.
Coordinate with service and product support teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Prepare accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
Participate in tenders, exhibitions, and promotional events to enhance market presence.
Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and credit guidelines.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. MBA is a plus.
Minimum 6 years of relevant sales experience in construction or heavy equipment industry.
Excellent knowledge of equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoe, compactors, etc.
Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel extensively and work under pressure.
Regional language proficiency (if applicable)
Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and ERP systems
Prior experience working with brands like JCB, Caterpillar, Komatsu, Tata Hitachi, etc.
