B. About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional for the role of Field Supervisor under the RDSS Scheme,

responsible for supervising the on-ground installation and commissioning of smart meters as part of

AMR/AMI implementations. The ideal candidate will oversee field activities to ensure safe, accurate, and

compliant meter installations while maintaining real-time coordination with field teams and stakeholders.

C. Detailed set of expectations from the role

 Ensure that all AMR/AMI smart meter installations are carried out accurately, safely, and in

compliance with technical standards and RDSS guidelines.

 Prepare and maintain detailed daily/weekly MIS reports using Microsoft Excel and other Office tools

to track progress, identify bottlenecks, and support performance reviews and compliance

assessments.

 Monitor the proper commissioning of smart meters to ensure accurate data capture, transmission,

and integration into centralized monitoring systems.

 Maintain real-time coordination with DISCOM officials (District/Circle), contractors, and technical

support teams to address operational issues, escalate challenges, and ensure timely project

execution.

D. Required skill set

 Experience in installation of Smart meter with preparation of MIS in any AMR/AMI project.

 Having good knowledge of Microsoft office and excel reports.

E. Education and Experience

 Over 3 years of experience.

 Degree/ Diploma in Electrical engineering from a recognized university.

F. Work Location

 Base location shall be multiple locations under Bhopal Discom. However, the role would require the

applicant to undertake travel for pursuing various opportunities.
