Job Description: Field Sales Officer (FOS)

Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-time
Experience Required: Minimum 6 months in field sales
Qualification: 12th/HSC or equivalent (Graduates preferred but not mandatory)
Industry Preference: BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) field sales experience
CTC: Up to ₹2.25 Lakhs per annum (Including incentives)
Job Role & Responsibilities:
1. Prospect and generate leads to sell life insurance products (ULIPs, term plans, savings plans, etc.) to potential customers.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and referrals.
3. Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets as per company guidelines.
4. Conduct field visits, customer meetings, and product presentations to drive sales.
5. Educate customers on insurance products, benefits, and claim processes.
6. Collaborate with the sales team and reporting manager to strategise outreach efforts.
7. Adhere to compliance and regulatory standards set by IRDAI and the company.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated with a target-driven approach.
- Ability to work independently and handle customer objections.
- Basic knowledge of life insurance products and the BFSI sector.
- Local market knowledge (Bangalore) is an advantage.
